The INEDIVIM National Coordination Unit responsible for the implementation of the Erasmus+ / Youth & Sport and European Solidarity Corps programs has just recently informed us about our selection in a NET activity, which it organizes, Quality in Volunteering. The activity takes place between September 3-7, 2024 in Komotini.

Purpose

The purpose of the activity is to bring together beneficiaries of volunteering projects and give them the space to discuss issues of quality implementation, dealing with challenges that appear at all stages of a project's life cycle, as well as to network with each other and to strengthen cooperation skills at national and international level.

Goals

The objectives of the activity are to:

-networking and exchanging tools and practices for volunteer management and project communication.

-quality implementation issuing and addressing challenges that appear at all stages of a project's life cycle are discussed.

- practice on budget allocation through a simulation exercise.

Target group

Representatives and/or employees of entities that have an active Quality Label can participate in the activity in lead and/or host and/or support roles.

How and when is it implemented?

The activity will be implemented with a physical presence on September 3-7, 2024 in Komotini, which is the National Youth Capital for 2024. In this context, there will be interaction with local bodies, such as the Municipality of Komotini and the Komotini Youth Center. Participants are expected to arrive on 3/9/2024 by evening in Komotini and depart on 7/9/2024 in the morning, after breakfast. The activity will take place at the Kyridis Hotel in the center of Komotini and the participants will be accommodated in gender-balanced double rooms. The working language is Greek.
